Zirconia Implants:
Made from, zirconium dioxide, a ceramic material know for its strength and biocompatibility.
PMMA Implants:
Made from Polymethyl methacrylate, an acrylic resin that is held together with a titanium bar


Key Differences
Durability: Zirconia is more resistant to chipping, fracturing, and wear than PMMA
Appearance: Zirconia is more aesthetic and looking more natural than PMMA
Maintenance: Zirconia requires less maintenance than PMMA
Cost: PMMA is less expensive initially, but Zirconia will be more cost effective in the long-term
